Followers of our blog will remember Phillip, who first flew with Redhill Aviation aged 12. Phillip recently turned 14 and his family bought him another flying lesson as a present. Very well done indeed to Vlad today, who not only successfully passed his Flying Instructor test but also managed to revalidate his Multi Engine Piston rating - on an aircraft he had never flown before!Vlad has carried out his FI course with our Head of Training, Islam. Today's test was carried out in a Cessna 152 with our in-house examiner, Jill. Prior to the flight, Vlad was required to give a detailed briefing on the ground to his "student" examiner.

Congratulations to our PPL member Dan, who completed his night rating this evening!Dan learned to fly with Redhill Aviation and gained his licence in 2016 - completing his flight training just ten minutes over the minimum requirement of 45 hours and scored an average of over 95% in his theory exams. Since that time Dan has been hour building and has commenced a full-time ATPL theory course. Congratulations to our student Nik, who successfully passed his PPL Skills Test today with our in-house examiner, Jim Stevens.Like many of our students, Nik has had to fit all of his training around a demanding full-time job, simply taking his time and flying whenever time allowed.Nik is now looking forward to flying to the Isle of Wight where his mother lives and taking her for a flight.A great achievement, Congratulations Captain!
