HUGE congratulations to our student Jack who passed his PPL Skills Test today! Jack achieved this milestone in just over the course minimum requirement of 45 hours and in under a year.Today Jack flew Cessna 152, G-BOYL (aka "Susan") on this bright but breezy November day. Jack flew with our in-house examiner, Laurance, who first of all tested Jack on his navigation skills to the east of Redhill Aerodrome (including a diversion which was planned in-flight).

Today, one of our youngest aviation enthusiasts (and our instructor Simon's nephew) enjoyed his fourth flight in a light aircraft. Many congratulations to our student Juan, who successfully passed his Skills Test today!Juan flew his test in Cessna 152 G-BOYL with our in-house examiner Tuhin. The weather was just right for the test and although it was cloudier in the afternoon, the cloud base remained high and so didn't cause any issues.Juan was delighted with the result and is now looking forward to doing more flying to gain further experience.A great result - Congratulations Captain!

Congratulations to our student Nik, who completed his solo Qualifying Cross Country flight today in Cessna 152, G-BOYL. Congratulations to our young student Reshe who has been flying with us under an AIR PILOT SCHOLARSHIP scheme. Reshe who is 17 started flying under another scholarship at Dundee airfield, but is now completing his PPL with RAFC with the aim to become an airline pilot. Redhill Aerodrome have updated their guide to fixed-wing procedures. A link to the complete document can be found here.In summary, the main changes are:1.
