Congratulations to our student Zoltan who successfully completed his solo Qualifying Cross Country Flight today!For the QXC, students must fly a minimum of 150NM solo and land at two other airfields before returning to Redhill. Congratulations to our student David, who flew his first solo circuit today!David has elected to carry out his training in our 160hp PA28, G-BMUZ. Today he initially flew with instructor Laurance, to demonstrate his abilities in the circuit. In the soaring temperatures, David and Laurance took to the skies and David remained cool and calm - despite the 35 degrees outside!After demonstrating several tidy circuits, David was soon advised to drop off his instructor.

Our 14 year old student, Phillip, had his first taste of flying circuits today. Circuit training is generally a very intensive part of the course and Phillip has kindly shared a video of his experience. Congratulations to Tom, who successfully renewed his Multi-Engine Instrument Rating with us today. He flew with our in-house Examiner, Jill. Tom is one of many pilots who have recently joined us in order to either renew or revalidate their ME-IRs.
