First Solo (with an engine)!!!

Congratulations to our student Marc, who flew his first solo circuit today!

Marc is an experienced glider pilot who would now like to broaden his flying experience to included touring without the aid of thermals and other atmospheric phenomena, which assist the modern glider pilot.

Marc is learning in our Cessna 152s and achieved his first powered solo flight this afternoon on the challenging Runway 18 after approximately 5 hours of powered flight.

Marc passed three of the written exams, plus passed his medical exam only yesterday!
