Another First Solo!

Congratulations to our young student Reshe who has been flying with us under an AIR PILOT SCHOLARSHIP scheme.  

Reshe who is 17 started flying under another scholarship at Dundee airfield, but is now completing his PPL with RAFC with the aim to become an airline pilot. 

He came in yesterday afternoon to fly with instructor Laurance. Due to the wind, runway 18 was in use, one which Reshe hadn’t flown from before, so after a few circuits, the instructor jumped out to allow Reshe to fly one left hand circuit solo.

Laurance observed his progress from the Tower, and watched a perfect landing. Afterwards Reshe filled in his Log book, for the time he was able to P1, pilot in command, and the only time he will ever write Ex. 14, “First solo”.
