Today our student Pablo set off with instructor Laurance for a cross country training flight as a partial practice for his upcoming Qualifying Cross Country. After displaying excellent navigations skills, Pablo landed Cessna 152 G-BMUO successfully at Goodwood aerodrome for the first time. HUGE congratulations to our student Mark who today achieved his first solo!Mark is an experienced glider pilot and instructor, but is now in the process of making the transition to powered aircraft and is working towards his LAPL licence. Mark flew his first solo in C152 G-BOLV late in the afternoon after practicing a few circuits on Rwy 08L with instructor Laurance beforehand.
