Successful PPL pass in our PA28 Archer in just seven months!!!

Congratulations to our student Johnathan for passing his PPL Skills test today!

Johnathan chose to do all of his training on our PA28 Archer G-BIUY during one of the wettest winters we have experienced for many years! Fortunately he was able to make full use of Redhill’s improved runway 07/25, now available for circuits and student solos.

Exceptionally, Johnathan’s claim to fame is that he is one of very few student pilots to be routed overhead Gatwick by ATC during a student solo cross-country flight!

Johnathan proved to be particularly adept at the theory exams, passing all first time with a score of 100%!

UPDATE 28/04/2016: Johnathan is wasting no time taking advantage of his new licence and is already flying as Captain!
