LAPL Licence Upgrade from NPPL!

Congratulations to Elmar who today successfully upgraded his flexwing microlight NPPL (National Private Pilot’s Licence) to a LAPL.

In order to do this, Elmar first had to obtain an SSEA (simple single engine aircraft) addition to his NPPL and then via the LAA (Light Aircraft Association) convert it to a LAPL. 

He completed one of the two flight tests required in Cessna 152 G-BGFX with our in-house examiner, Jill Develin.
