Flying Instructor Rating Achieved!

Congratulations to Ian who achieved his Flying Instructor Rating today!

Ian was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Honourable Company of Air Pilots comprising of 30 hours' training plus the test itself.  Ian carried out his FI training with our instructor Jill Develin and thanks to Jill's excellent time management, completed the course right on target! 

The majority of Ian's training was undertaken in C152 G-BOLV and the test itself carried out in G-BOSO (our Cessna Aerobat). The test was conducted by Islam, our Head of Training.

With a CPL already under his belt, Ian next plans to travel to Florida to add an FAA IR to his FAA licence before returning to the UK to complete his EASA Instrument Rating. We wish Ian well with what is going to be a busy time ahead!
