First Solo for 16 year old Student!

Our students are really doing us proud this week! Today our young student Shaun achieved his first solo, after first passing his Air Law exam. Shaun is aged just 16 years – not yet old enough to take driving lessons! 

Shaun flew Cessna 152 G-BOYL for some circuit practice with instructor Simon Belassie, before flying a solo circuit using Runway 26L. Assistant Instructor Ross Broomes has also taught Shaun during his training so far.

Very well done to you Shaun – what a great start to the summer holidays!
