Cross Channel Checkout

With the longer days and better weather, have you considered getting your "Cross Channel Checkout"?

PPL member Max did exactly this with Instructor Fin today. Le Touquet airport is around an hour's flight away from Redhill and staff there welcome visiting British pilots. There is just a little extra planning required, along with the usual safety considerations of any over-water crossing.

Once at Le Touquet, you can hire a bicycle or stroll into town, with its lovely sandy beach just beyond. After enjoying the day, you can return with excellent French bread and wine along with impressive bragging rights!
