A great sight after a perfect winter flight!

After our "birds" were safely tucked up for the night, we spotted this flock of geese still on the wing after a day of beautiful December sunshine. We hope they enjoyed their flying today as much as we did!

Skills Test Pass After A 20 Year Break!

Many congratulations to Taran who successfully passed his PPL Skills Test today. Taran used to have a PPL, but after a lay off of over 20 years, has now got his licence back again!Taran flew with our in-house examiner Laurance in C152 G-BOLV. We are delighted to have helped you get back into the world of light aviation and wish you blue skies and happy landings!

New Holding Points & Taxiways Introduced at EGKR

With effect from today new holding points and taxiways have been introduced. Details are shown on the diagram below or can be found using the download link here.AVGAS refuelling is now from the new tank at the Tower on Taxiway Foxtrot. Please follow ATC instructions as you will either need to stop facing north or south depending on the wind.

Congratulations on a Successful Qualifying Cross Country Flight Today!

Many congratulations to our student Sabine who successfully flew her Qualifying Cross Country today!Taking advantage of the beautiful autumn sunshine, Sabine flew Cessna 152 G-BOYL.Sabine's 150NM flight took her firstly from Redhill to Earl's Colne. 2nd Skills Test Pass Of The Day!

Congratulations to our second student to pass his Skills Test today, another Dan!Dan's route to his PPL was via a NPPL, then a LAPL SSEA.
