Successful Qualifying Cross Country Flight!

Finally after a couple of aborted attempts due to bad weather, today it was perfect, the conditions could not have been better for our PPL student Luc to complete his long awaited qualifying cross country flight.

The route was from Redhill, to Earls Colne in Essex, then on to Lydd in Kent, before returning back to Redhill. Today being favourable, many other pilots had decided to take to the skies, consequently Earls Colne could not accept Luc before 13:30. At 12:30 with his PPR arranged, Luc set off for what he commented was one of the nicest flights he has yet undertaken.

At 16:30 (20 minutes before Redhill closed to training aircraft), Luc's instructor Mark was beginning to get anxious, when he heard G-BOLV call up at Bough Beech. The delay it transpires was due to the refulers at Lydd filling up the wrong aircraft.

Congratulations Luc for another milestone completed on the path of your  flying career!
