Another First Solo This Week!

CONGRATULATIONS to our student Harry who achieved his first solo flight today!

Harry works full time in London but tries to travel to us by train after work once a week to get a flight in during the aerodrome's last hour of opening (both we and Redhill Aerodrome are open until 7pm until the clocks change).

Harry had around 14 hours' training before going solo and flew G-BOSO for the big event. The Runway 18 circuit was in use again today, but the winds were still relatively light. He was able to make the most of the last day of the unseasonably hot September weather and although it was overcast, the cloudbase was plenty high enough not to be an issue.
